Around a year and a half ago I was really struggling to deal with social media.

It felt like a constant stress every day in many ways but still I kept using it – fearing I’d lose friends or miss out without it.

It all became too much when other stresses in my life heightened, I deleted social media completely.

This detox immediately reduced my stress, although at times I feel left out, it has made me more aware of the unhealthy habits users of social media have and highlighted ones that affect me the most.
